ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- A western New York couple has one more reason to be thankful after the wife gives birth along a suburban Rochester highway.

Members of Brighton Volunteer Ambulance tell WHEC-TV in Rochester (http://bit.ly/10j452i ) that Delores and Jeremy Zane were driving to the hospital around 3:30 a.m. Thursday when they had to pull over on Interstate 590 because she was going into labor.

Emergency crews say Jeremy delivered his son on the side of the highway. The couple’s 4-year-old daughter was in the car with them when the baby was born.

The ambulance crew says Delores and baby Matthew are in the hospital and both are doing well on Thanksgiving morning.
