North Adams declares snow emergency in effect until 8 p.m.

NORTH ADAMS -- Due to additional snow accumulations today and blowing and drifting conditions, Mayor Richard Alcombright has declared a snow emergency for the city, in effect until 8 p.m. today.

This emergency will be assessed during the day and an update will be issued if necessary.

Residents are asked to keep vehicles off the streets to facilitate plowing and cleanup efforts.
