NORTH ADAMS - The National Weather Service in Albany, N.Y., has issued a winter weather advisory for all of Berkshire County until 4 a.m. on Sunday.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties, with periods of limited visibility and slippery road conditions.

Although the advisory calls for snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches of snow, predictions for Northern Berkshire include the possibility of 2- to 4-inches of snowfall during the day on Saturday, with another 1 to 3 inches possibly falling before midnight.

Sunday's forecast includes snow showers, mainly before 11 a.m., with blustery winds from 14 to 22 miles per hour. Wind gusts could go as high as 32 miles per hour.
