False alarm clears school: ADAMS -- A malfunctioning fire alarm at C.T. Plunkett Elementary School caused an evacuation of the building this morning. Children were brought to the First Congregational Church on Park Street while the Alert Hose Co. went through the school. Fire Chief Paul Goyette says the alarm system was serviced later in the afternoon.

Housing Trust meets in Williamstown: WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Affordable Housing Trust met tonight, with agenda items including the status of the housing needs assessment, status of the pending hazard mitigation grant, discussion of Guntlow Engineering’s presentation to the Affordable Housing Committee, and updates on potential affordable housing project sites.
