Village Ambulance Service Open House
When: 11 to 3
Where: 30 Water St., Williamstown, behind the Fire Department
What: Public demonstrations, safety information, activities for children
Folly at Field Farm Opening Day Celebration
When:Noon to 1:30
Where: 554 Sloan Road, South Williamstown.
What: Opening day celebraton includes a house tour, an outdoor sculpture tour, a walk around the pond, and refreshments.
Tours of the Folly begin at noon and conclude at 1:30 p.m. The sculpture tour begins at 12:30 p.m. with a short walk on the Pond Trail beginning at 1 p.m. Refreshments are served at 1:30 p.m.
Cost:Saturday's event is free. After June 8, the Folly will be open on the second and fourth Saturdays through September. Admission to the Folly is $5 per adult and free for children, Trustees members and residents of Williamstown.
The trails are free and open daily year round from dawn to dusk.
Lecture: "All for One & One for All ... Biodiversity"
When: 2 p.m.
Where: Department of Conservation & Recreation's Visitors Museum, Building No. 4, Western Gateway Heritage State Park, North Adams
What: The Department of Conservation & Recreation's Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will present an illustrated lecture, "All for One & One for All ... Biodiversity," at 2 p.m.,
This illustrated lecture will discuss what many scientists believe is the most important and ignored theme that could determine our fate as a species: biodiversity.

Dance the night away "Under the Sea" at the NAMA Prom
When: 8:30 p.m.
Where: Elks Lodge, 100 Eagle St., North Adams
What: 21 + semi-formal dance.
A cocktail hour, from 8:30 to 10 p.m., will include hors d'oeuvres from Lickety Split, live music, and a treasure hunt that will lead party-goers to hidden tickets redeemable for prizes.
Admission:Cocktail hour is $10. After 10 p.m., admission drops to $5 and the event switches over to a full dance party; at this point BFG will DJ until 1:30 a.m. .
