CHESHIRE -- James LaFrance was recently recognized by American Honda Motor Co. for earning Gold Master status- a distinction that can only be attained by Honda sales consultants who performs at the Gold Level three times within a five-year period, at the same dealership, within the same division.

LaFrance has been at Bedard Bros. Honda in Cheshire for almost 15 years. This honor is awarded in conjunction with the Honda Council of Sales Leadership recognition program.

By design the Council of Sales Leadership program challenges and rewards Honda Sales Consultants for consistently exceeding expectations in three key criteria: sales, customer satisfaction and training. This year's Gold Master Level honorees surpassed their given sales objectives, met or exceeded their district' customer satisfaction scores, and successfully fulfilled the annual training requirements.

In the past year, over 2700 Honda sales consultants became members of the Council of Sales Leadership. Of those, 414 persevered to attain Gold Master Level recognition.

An awards banquet was held March 19 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.
