POWNAL, Vt. -- Photographer Gabe Palmer announced the grand opening of his "limited edition" portrait studio recently while hosting a mixer for the Bennington Chamber of Commerce.

"As a corporate annual report photographer, portraits were always part of my job description, but it wasn't until we moved to Seattle in 2000 that I took advantage of a ground floor urban location to shoot retail portraits," Palmer said in the news release. "It was extremely successful not only because of our diversity of style and our guarantees satisfaction, but also because we didn't employ any trickery to force customers into spending more then they had budgeted."

Palmer/Kane studio is adjacent to The Studio Club ArtWorks!, which Gabe operates with his wife, Pat Kane. Open less than a year, the gallery enjoys a clientele from the tri-state area many of whom inquired about portraits.

"We clearly saw a need," says Pat.

Palmer Kane studio is prepared to shoot in studio or on location and will customize each session to a client's needs.

"With the anxiety relieved we are able to offer each client a guarantee -- love it or walk away without paying a dime," Palmer said in the news
