In the courts

NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

* David E. Girard Jr., 35, of Chase Avenue in North Adams, was found guilty of operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of property damage and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Girard was given probation until Feb. 27, 2013 and fined $567.

Warrants were issued for the following people:

* Paul D. Kwasnioski, 55, of Williamstown Terrace in Pittsfield, on a charge of larceny by check of under $250.
