PITTSFIELD -- Town Players of Pittsfield will be holding auditions for the reading of the short one-act comedy "Lives of the Great Waitresses" by Nina Shengold, directed by Denise Roller. The auditions for this play reading will be Wednesday and Thursday, June 27 and 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the gym of Morningside Community School, 100 Burbank St.

This reading is scheduled to be performed Thursday, July 19. In this play, four waitresses, each with their own style, share the secrets of being one of the greats. Women of all ages are needed for the cast. Scripts will be provided.
