C’burg Senior Club meets on June 7

CLARKSBURG -- The Clarksburg Senior Club held its monthly meeting June 7. There were 37 members present.

Della Gallagher has accepted duties of maintaining the supply closet. Members were told the Kingward Bus line would like to sponsor some day trips for seniors to various events, requesting members to sign up to be on their mailing list.

Members were reminded that the annual Council on Aging picnic will be held June 21, with Boston Seafood Restaurant doing the catering and Aladdins providing the entertainment. Tickets are $8 and can be obtained at the senior center. Quantity is limited.

The 50/50 was won by Jennie Strange. A social followed the meeting. The next meeting will be held Thursday, July 5, at the senior club.
