NORTH ADAMS -- The Berkshire County 4-H program will be holding a mini-golf tournament Sunday, July 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Range on Curran Highway in North Adams.
The cost is $10 per person, and teams will be made up of two people. If interested in participating in this tournament, pick up an entry form at The Range or call the Berkshire 4-H Office at 413-448-8285. There will be prizes for the teams who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd. There will also be a petting zoo and a Chinese auction.
"We chose a mini-golf tournament because all ages and skill levels can enjoy themselves with mini-golf. We also want the public to know that 4-H is very active in Berkshire County and let people know what we are all about. Many people still hold on to the belief that 4-H is about animals, and though we are having a petting zoo for people to enjoy, that is not what 4-H is about," said Extension Educator Angelica Paredes.
