Blair Vander Voort of North Adams, daughter of Eileen Vander Voort and Dale Vander Voort of Pittsfield, has been named to the Provost List for spring 2012 at Southern Ver mont College in Bennington.
The Provost List recognizes full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 during the semester.
Vander Voort is majoring in creative writing. She is a graduate of Mount Greylock High School, Williamstown.

Katelyn Allard, daughter of Joseph and Diane Allard of Adams, has been named to the President’s List for the 2012 spring semester at Southern New Hampshire University.
A junior double majoring in elementary education and special education with a GPA of 3.9, she is a graduate of Hoosac Valley High School, Cheshire.

Steven Felix, son of Charles and Gloria Felix of 385 Eagle St., North Adams, graduated cum laude from the University of Massa chusetts with a bachelor’s degree in music education and performance.

Zachary Gross, son of William Gross of Hancock and Laura Gross of Sheffield, received academic honors at Westfield State University by making the dean’s list for the spring semester 2012.
A freshman, Gross is majoring in psychology and minoring in writing. He earned a 3.8 grade point average.
To receive dean’s list status, a student must complete a 12-hour semester with a GPA of at least 3.3 (B-plus), have no grade below a 2.0 (C), and have no incomplete grades.

Heather Lynne Peltier, daughter of Gretchen Wells-Vidal and Andrew Vidal of Cheshire, graduated cum laude from Westfield Univer sity on May 19 with a bachelor of arts in political science.
A 2009 Hoosac Valley High School graduate, she graduated from Westfield in only three years with a GPA of 3.43.
She was accepted to North eastern University this fall to pursue her master’s degree in public administration.
