Town meeting tonight: ADAMS -- The annual town meeting is tonight at 7 at C.T. Plunkett Elementary School, and the $13 million budget will be discussed, along with several warrant articles.

Busy schedule for board: NORTH ADAMS -- The City Council has a heavy agenda tonight, including the compensation and classification plan, an ordinance to preserve historically significant buildings; a resolution allowing the city to apply for a PARC grant for American with Disabilities Act upgrades at Joe Wolfe Field; an order increasing the pension for survivors of city employees to $500 a month; a transfer of $454,000 from free cash to the stabilization account to balance

Fresh face for facility: WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Harper Center, which houses the Williamstown Council on Aging, will undergo its first major renovation since being built in 1980. Included in the renovation is the replacement of two walls lined with sliding glass doors with new walls and windows, and the addition of air conditioning to the facility.
