KEENE, N.H. -- The SteepleCats blew an early 2-0 lead when Keene scored five times in the third to grab the lead. Keene held on for the 5-2 victory.

North Adams scored on an error in the first and a Bryan Soloman RBI single in the third before the wheels came off. A bases-loaded walk by SteepleCats starter Tyler Badamo followed later in the third by a three-run homer from Jared Walsh did most of the damage. North Adams would only have two hits the rest of the game, dooming the SteepleCats to defeat.

Badamo took the loss, allowing five runs in just 22Ž3 innings of work. Artie Lewicki got the win, allowing just three hits over six innings. North Adams had five hits total. The SteepleCats left seven men on base.
