Motorcyclist sent to BMC

A motorcycle accident on Route 116 in Savoy, at the intersection of Route 8A, sent the operator to Berkshire Medical Center on Friday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. An involved tractor trailer brought down a utility wire. Traffic was detoured briefly. No further information was available as of press time.
