NORTH ADAMS -- The Northern Berkshire Com munity Coalition will offer farmers market coupons for eligible seniors for one day only on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Coupons can be used for purchasing fresh and local produce at the local farmers markets.
In North Adams, coupon books can be picked up Thursday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m., at the Spitzer Center, 116 Ashland St., and used at the farmers market on that day only.
Transportation to the market is available if needed. Call the Spitzer Senior Center for more information at 413-662-3125. The round trip fee is $3.
In Adams, coupon books can be picked up Thursday, July 12, at 10:30 a.m., at the Adams Council on Aging, 20 East St., and used on that day only. Transportation will be provided if needed. Call Adams Council on Aging for more information, 413-743-8333. The round trip fee is $2.
