ADAMS -- First- and second-grade students from St. Stanislaus Kostka School went on a field trip to the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield on Monday, June 11.

The first graders participated in the educational program, "Math In Motion" while the second graders had "Reptiles Up Close." The children had the opportunity to become acquainted with exotic reptiles that ate, crawled, and slithered around the discovery room. They also got "up close" to turtles, snakes and lizards to learn about each animal’s adaptations for survival.

This field trip was sponsored in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, funded by the Mass achusetts Cultural Council.
