WILLIAMSTOWN -- Im ages Cinema will present Family Flicks Under the Stars on four consecutive Sundays at sundown.

The shows will be July 8 -- "To Catch A Thief," July 15 -- "ET: The Extra-Terrestrial," July 22 -- "A League Of Their Own," and July 29 -- "The Sound of Music."

Free soccer camp
set in Bennington

BENNINGTON, Vt. -- A free soccer camp for boys and girls, ages 6 to 12, will be held July 9 through 12 at Grace Christian School.

The camp will run Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Call 802-447-2233 to register.

Food pantry to be closed for July 4 holiday

NORTH ADAMS -- Due to the Independence Day holiday on Wednesday, the Friendship Center Food Pantry at 43 Eagle St. will be closed.

Instead, it will be open on Thursday during its usual hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Information: 413-664-0123.

Skating lessons
offered at city rink

NORTH ADAMS -- A new session of the learn-to-skate program began on Tuesday, June 26, and will run through Aug. 28, from 5 to 5:50 p.m. at the Peter Foote Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Rink.

Rental skates are available for a nominal fee.

The lesson includes 30 minutes of instruction and 20 minutes of free skate. Girls and boys, ages 3 and older can learn the basics of figure skating, make new friends and become part of a club while creating lasting memories.
