PITTSFIELD -- The Dia betes Education program at Berkshire Medical Center will of fer classes in August and September for those with diabetes.
Classes are scheduled for Tuesdays, Aug. 7 to 28, each running from 6 to 8 p.m., at the BHS Diabetes Educa tion program offices at 510 North St.
September classes are held on consecutive Wednes days, Sept. 5 to 26, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Pre-registration and pre-qualification is required for either series of classes. Call the Diabetes Education program at 413-395-7942 to enroll, or register online on the Berkshire Health Systems website: www. berkshirehealthsystems.org, click on the Calendar link. Interested individuals should enroll as soon as possible.
The classes are open to anyone age 18 and older with diabetes, and the cost of the classes is covered by most insurance programs.
