PITTSFIELD -- The Berkshire Writers Room will sponsor a special workshop Tuesday, July 17, at 6:30 P.M. at St. Stephen’s Church, East Street, in the basement dining area.

Professional artist Lynn Welker will again bring her original paintings. Writers will write a short story, flash fiction or poem about the pieces. There will be two short writing sessions and writers will then share their pieces, if desired.

Members are free; non-members are $5.
