NORTH ADAMS -- Court Margaret Catholic Daughters of the Americas held its regular monthly meeting Wednes day, June 13 in St. Elizabeth’s Parish Center.
Justyna Carlson, Alice Samia and Mary Crane were co-hostesses for the evening’s social. A lipstick leadership characteristic game was play ed with Carlson in charge.
The court was invited to attend a luncheon fundraiser by Court Everett from the Bos ton area on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Bayside Res tau rant in Nahant. Members from courts Margaret and Sancta Regina will attend.
Court Margaret voted to send monetary gifts to two national charities, Smile Train and Habitat for Humanity.
The biennial national convention for the Catholic Daugh ters will be held in July in Omaha, Neb.
The next national convention will be held in Billings, Mont. Members from Court Margar et are planning to attend.
A meeting for the new officers of Court Margaret will be held at the home of Justyna Carlson, newly-elected regent, on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 6:30 p.m. to formulate plans for the coming year.
Other officers are: vice re gent, Rose Marie Peters; re cord ing secretary, Sally Nolan; financial secretary, Dorothy Rac ette; and treasurer, Alice Samia.
Court Margaret and Court Sancta Regina from Adams will hold a covered-dish in door picnic Thursday, July 12, at 1 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Parish Center.
