Diagonal parking trial begins

Andre Silva, of Markings Inc. in Pembroke, paints a handicap parking symbol on Main Street in North Adams late Wednesday night as co-worker James Leonard looks on. The diagonal parking, being employed on a trial basis, runs between Eagle and Holden streets on the north side of Main Street. The trial period lasts through June 2013, and parking in the diagonal spaces will be free until next summer.
