ADAMS -- Tamarack Hollow and the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire Presents: Deer Hill "Big Trees" Hike at Mount Greylock on Saturday, July 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hike this strenuous 3-mile round-trip hike to view a state-listed spruce tree that is included in the top big trees list of Massachusetts by old growth tree specialists.

See a former CCC encampment, tumbling waterfalls, rare plant species and a stand of sizeable striped maple trees. The program is free and is supported by a grant from the Northern Berkshire Cultural Council.

Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring lunch/water.
