WILLIAMSTOWN -- An accident on Cold Spring Road sent a Clarksburg man to Berkshire Medical Center with serious injuries Wednesday night, according to Williamstown Police Sgt. Scott McGowan.

The accident occurred at the entrance of Sweet Brook Nursing home at roughly 9:30 p.m.

According to McGowan's report, Eric T. Enos, 28, of Clarksburg, operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was traveling southbound on Cold Spring Road (Route 7) at the time of the crash.

Enos collided with a 2010 Kia operated by William E. Huff, of Adams.

"As Enos approached the entrance of Sweet Brook, [Huff] exited the Sweet Brook driveway," McGowan's report reads. "As a result, Enos was unable to stop the motorcycle and struck Huff's vehicle."

Enos was treated by paramedics from Village Ambulance Service, the report reads. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Traffic on Cold Spring Road was detoured from the time of the accident until 12:10 a.m., while police conducted a crash investigation. Williamstown Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police assisted in the cleanup.

Both vehicles were totaled and transferred to Ron's Auto Repair.

Williamstown Police cited Huff, who did not suffer any injuries, for failure to use care when starting as a result of the accident.
