Green Drinks to be held Aug. 8

NORTH ADAMS -- North Adams Green Drinks -- a gathering of people interested in conservation and environmental issues -- will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, starting at 5:30 p.m., at Freight Yard Pub, Western Gateway Heritage Park.

At 6:30 p.m., there will be a short presentation by Aric Brown from the Center for EcoTechnology talking about ways to save energy, sponsored by Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT) & Northern Berkshire Transition.

North Adams Green Drinks is a very informal gathering, open to everyone with any environmental interest. These networking events are very simple, unstructured and intended to make people feel welcome.
