NORTH ADAMS -- A Newark, N.J., man sustained minor injuries Friday night after rolling his 2006 Honda Accord on Massachusetts Avenue.
According to North Adams Police Sgt. James Burdick, Erasmus Okere, 45, was treated at North Adams Regional Hospital for "cuts and bruises" and released later that night.
He said Okere was driving east on Massachusetts Avenue when the silver Honda Accord he was driving hit a parked green 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee owned by Robert Therrien. The accident, which was first reported at 10:35 p.m., rerouted traffic on the road for a short period of time.
"For some unknown reason, he hit a parked car and rolled his vehicle onto its roof," Burdick said. "He was lost at the time and was using his GPS when the accident happened."
Both vehicles were considered to be totaled and towed from the scene.
