NORTH ADAMS -- The following case was heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday:

* Holly E. Pelcynski, 26, of Friend Street in Adams, admitted to sufficient facts and was found responsible on a charge of speeding in violation of a special regulation. Pelcynski was fined $150.

The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday:

* Ferdinand G. Barshdorf, 42, of South Church Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 8.

* Bruce P. Lescarbeau, 34, of Eagle Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of disturbing the peace and assault and battery. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 5.

* David W. Cantoni, 57, of Ryan Street in North Adams, was ruled a dangerous person under state law Section 58A and will be held at Berkshire County House of Correction until his pretrial hearing date of Aug. 29. Cantoni is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, seventh offense, operating to endanger, a marked lanes violation, a number-plate violation, failure to notify the Registry of motor vehicles of an address change, and

* Kylo L. Simons, 31, of Jordan Street in Adams, was arraigned on a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 28.

Warrants were issued for the following people:

* Kyle S. Jones, 27, of Hall Street in Adams, on a charge of shoplifting by asportation.

* Craig S. Miller, 45, of Murray Street in Adams, on a charge of larceny by check under $250.

* Tyler J. Boutiette, 25, of Jackson Street in North Adams ,on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and an inspection sticker violation.

* Carl E. Scutt Jr., 19, of Union Street in North Adams, on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Tuesday:

* Gerald T. Soucie, 20, of High Street in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of violating an abuse-prevention order. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 22.

* David N. Kendig, 57, of Kirchner Road in Dalton, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor (OUI), endangering a child while OUI and speeding. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 29.

* Robert J. Upton, 63, of James Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and a miscellaneous equipment violation. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 28.

* Angelique J. Alcombright, 25, of Overlook Terrace in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 19.

* Matthew F. Collins, 29, of First Street in Adams, was arraigned on a charge of failure to return leased personalty. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 5.
