NORTH ADAMS -- The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will offer an illustrated lecture, "Insect Warriors," on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m.

This illustrated lecture will probe the many ways insects have been used as weapons of war and their effects on the outcome of conflict and history.

Western Gateway Heritage State Park is south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building No. 4. Information: 413-663-6312.
