NORTH ADAMS -- The Department of Conservation & Recreation’s Visitors Museum at Western Gateway Heritage State Park will offer an illustrated lecture, "Going, Going ... Gone!" on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m.

This illustrated lecture will eulogize the passing of some of the cultural items and practices that have been laid to rest by progress and technology.

Western Gateway Heritage State Park is south of the Hadley Overpass on Route 8. The Visitors Museum is in building No. 4.
