NORTH ADAMS -- Hundreds of community members gathered outside of the First Baptist Church on Saturday to say their final farewells to U.S. Army Pfc. Michael DeMarsico II, 20, who was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan on Aug. 16.

He was buried, with full military honors, in Southview Cemetery.
