NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday:
* William R. Valotta, 21, of Houghton Street in North Adams, was found guilty after admitting to sufficient facts on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was ordered to pay a fine of $40, a surfine of $10 and $50 to the victim and witness fund. He was allowed to do community service.
* Corey M. Mahar, 23, of South State Road in Cheshire, was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 31.
* JoAnn M. Bentley, 28, of Chase Avenue in North Adams, was arraigned on a charge of failure to returned leased personalty. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 25.
* Patrick M. Bunt Jr., 23, of State Street in North Adams, was found guilty after admitting to sufficient facts on a charge of trespass. He was ordered to pay a fine of $40, a surfine of $10 and $50 to the victim and witness fund.
* Danielle L. Malinowski, 26, of Eagle Street in North Adams, was found guilty after admitting to sufficient facts on a charge of disturbing the peace. She was ordered to pay a fine of $80, a surfine of $20 and $50 to the victim and witness fund. A charge of assault and battery was
* Corey A. Martin, 20, of Commercial Street in Adams, was found responsible after admitting to sufficient facts on a charge of a person under 21 in possession of liquor. The charge was decriminalized, and he was ordered to pay a $50 fine.
A warrant was issued for the following person:
* Rebecca L. Grande, 24, of Meadow Street in North Adams, for charges of shoplifting by asportation, second offense, and failure to return leased personalty.
