Concert Choir to begin rehearsals

PITTSFIELD -- The Berk shire Concert Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, Sept. 12, for its annual winter concert.

Rehearsals will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednes days in the Fellowship Hall of First Church of Christ, Con gre gational, on Park Square.

Carlton Maaia II, artistic director, has chosen two centerpieces for the winter concert: Randall Thompson’s "A Feast of Praise" and the world premier of a recently commissioned piece by American choral composer Allen Pote.

Singers of all ages are welcome and no audition is required.
