FreshGrass grows again: NORTH ADAMS -- For a second consecutive year, the fall season at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art will open with a bluegrass festival. The FreshGrass Festival, which will take place Sept. 21-23, will feature David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Tony Rice, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Trampled by Turtles.
Also included in MoCA’s fall season will be a project started in 1963 by Jerry Gretzinger in which he mapped an imaginary town, and the Dec. 8 opening of an installation by Chinese artist Xu Bing in the Building 5 gallery.
