DHS band to hold can, bottle drive

NORTH ADAMS -- The Drury High School Band will hold a "kick off the school year right" bottle drive on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the city neighborhoods.

Bottles also can be dropped off at the Northern Berkshire Container Redemption Cen ter, 1000 Massachusetts Ave. that day -- look for the Drury Band volunteer area.

Bottles can be dropped off at the redemption center any time of the year to support the Drury Band; just tell them it’s for the band.

There is no need to sort the bottles; however, a quick clean ing is appreciated.
