Drury boys' soccer
Look back: The Blue Devils were left searching for answers after being shutout by rival Hoosac, 4-0 on Sept. 6. Drury fell behind 17 seconds in and never recovered.
Look ahead: The Blue Devils host a tough Lenox squad on Sept. 11 and then get another tough match against Wahconah the next day.
McCann Tech boys' soccer
Look back: The Hornets started the season with Sci. Tech on Sept. 7. Results were not available at press time.
Look ahead: The Hornets have some traveling to do this week. They visit St. Mary's on Sept. 11 and then hit the road again to play Smith Vocational on Sept. 14.
Mount Greylock boys' soccer
Look back: The Mounties kicked the season off with a victory over Lenox. Nathan Majumder had a goal and three assists in the win.
Look ahead: The Mounties take on the young and unbeaten Hurricanes on Sept. 11. Greylock rounds out the week by hosting St. Joseph's on Sept. 14.

Look back:
Look ahead: The girls faceoff against Mount Everett, Pittsfield and St. Joseph's on Sept. 13 at Mount Everett. The boys will also be in Everett, only they will face Mount Everett and St. Joseph's.
Hoosac Valley cross country
Look back: Kalyn Alibozek proved her win in the scrimmage wasn't a fluke. She won the opening meet by 22 seconds and paced her team to a 1-1 start. The boys had a tough opening meet. They lost to Greylock and Lenox to start the season.
Look ahead: The boys' team travels to Taconic on Sept. 12. They will be pinned against Monument and BART in the meet. The girls' team will also be at Taconic on Sept.12 to square off against Monument. They will also take on Wahconah.
McCann Tech cross country
Look back: A young and spirited girls' team enters the season with a bit of optimism and hope. The boys' team is still struggling to fill all of the slots, having just four runners through the first few weeks of preseason training. Both teams have been spending a fair amount of time training on their new course at Windsor Lake.
Look ahead: Both squads will finally kick their seasons off on Sept. 11 against Gateway. This is also the opening meet of the season for both Gateway teams. The Gateway boys finished last season 4-6; the girls finished 6-5.
Mount Greylock cross country
Look back: The unbeaten streak came to an end for the Mountie boys, while the girls kept their streak alive. The boys lost to Lenox, 24-31 and beat Hoosac and St. Joseph's in the opener. The girls beat both Wahconah and Lenox.
Look ahead: The Mountie girls will be at Taconic on Sept. 12 to face BART and Wahconah. The match against Wahconah is the second in as many meets for the two teams. The Boys will also be involved in the Taconic meet, taking on Taconic, Wahconah and BART.
Drury girls' soccer
Look back: Cori Ghidotti scored Drury's first goal just nine minutes into the season, but a strong Monument Mountain team came back to beat the Blue Devils 3-1 in the season opener.
Look ahead: Drury kicks its South Division schedule off against Hoosac Valley on Sept. 10. The Blue Devils will also host Mount Everett later in the week.
Hoosac Valley girls' soccer
Look back: A difficult practice schedule mixed in with tough scrimmages, including one against Mount Greylock, has Hoosac ready to start the season.
Look ahead: The young, but experienced Hurricanes start the season at Drury on Sept. 10. The Hurricanes will then visit St. Joseph's on Sept. 13.
McCann Tech girls' soccer
Look back: The Hornets got off to a fast start, beating Mount Everett 6-0 on Sept. 7. Mary Nguyen led the way with a hat trick and an assist to bring her career points total to 89. Freshman Monique Martel got her first varsity goal and assist.
Look ahead: The Hornets begin defense of their Tri-County title this week with matches against Westfield Vocational (Sept. 11) and Commerce (Sept. 14.) The Commerce game will be the team's home opener.
Mount Greylock girls' soccer
Look back: The co-South Division champs from 2011 are wrapping up a busy preseason. A scrimmage against Hoosac on Sept. 4 gave the team a good indication for the year to come.
Look ahead: The season finally kicks off for the Mounties on Sept. 10 against St. Joseph's. They'll visit Lee on Sept. 13 and round out the week with a game against Mount Anthony on Sept. 15.
Drury golf
Look back: The young Blue Devils grabbed two wins in the opening week, beating Lee and St. Jospeh's. They lost to Pittsfield, however, setting their record at 2-1. Matt Lawerence continues to lead the way, shooting a 38 on Friday, his second score at five or less over par (five rounds of five or under over par qualify an individual for Western Mass.).
Look ahead: After a busy opening week, the Blue Devils visit Wahconah on Sept. 11 and then host Hoosac Valley on Sept. 12. The Blue Devils and Hurricanes are both in a rebuilding mode.
Hoosac Valley golf
Look back: A young Hoosac team fell to 0-4 to start the season. The Hurricanes were beaten by Lenox, Taconic, Monument and Wahconah.
Look ahead: Hoosac kicks off a busy week by visiting Greylock on Sept. 11. It then heads to Drury on Sept. 12 and closes out the three-match week with St. Joseph's on Sept. 14.
McCann Tech golf
Look back: Matt Barlin's first match as head coach didn't go the way he would have liked. The Hornets were over-matched against Turner Falls, losing 24-0 in match play. Austin Seagala had the low score of 55.
Look ahead: McCann Tech will try to put a tough opening match behind it as it travels to Pioneer on Sept. 11 and Mohawk on Sept. 13.
Mount Greylock golf
Look back: The growing pains started for a young Mounties team this week. They fell to 0-4 with losses to Taconic, Pittsfield and Lee. Freshman Matt Wiseman continued to impress, shooting a 42 against Taconic and a 44 against Pittsfield. He once again led the team against Lee, shooting a 43.
Look ahead: The Mounties get back into action with another rebuilding program on Sept. 11. They travel to Hoosac. Greylock will then host Wahconah on Sept. 12.
Mount Greylock volleyball
Look back: There will be no back-to-back unbeaten seasons for the Mounties. The opening week wasn't kind to an inexperienced team, losing to Pittsfield 3-1 on Sept. 4 and then again to St. Joseph's on Sept. 6. Michala Dean has accumulated 32 assists, 21 kills and 13 aces through the first two matches.
Look ahead: Greylock will host Taconic on Sept. 10 and travel to Wahconah on Sept. 12. The Mounties finish a busy week by playing host to Lee on Sept. 14.
