Advocating for the arts: NORTH ADAMS -- Mass Creative, a new statewide arts and culture advocacy organization, met with leaders from 42 cultural institutions at Mass MoCA today. This is part of a listening tour and meet and greet, introducing the organization to its new cultural partners as it prepares to launch a statewide strategic alliance for arts and cultural organizations.

Discussing Death with Dignity Act: WILLIAMSTOWN -- The first of two "community conversations" about the proposed Massachusetts Death with Dignity Act took place at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Williamstown this afternoon.

The act, which gives terminally ill adults with six months or less to live the option to end their lives by means of prescription medicine, is a question on the Nov. 6 presidential ballot.
