NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday:
* Christopher D. Mahar, 20, of Pine Cobble Road in Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 17.
* Shawn M. Field, 22, of Eagle Street in North Adams, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 22.
* David Dickinson, 20, of May Street in Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and a headlights violation. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 22.
* Aaron S. Chappell II, 23, of North Summer Street in Adams, was arraigned on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 30.
