PITTSFIELD -- The Pittsfield Figure Skating Club will begin its new skating season on Monday, Oct. 1, and run through March 2013.

The PFSC is a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Asso ciation and offers programs such as learn-to-skate, basic skills, synchronized and adult programs.

All of the programs are open to boys and girls of all ages and sessions will be held at the rink at the Pittsfield Boys & Girls Club.

To register or learn more about the programs, join Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Stockbridge Library, 46 Main St., Stockbridge.
