NORTH ADAMS -- The Northern Berkshire Electronic Recycling & Paper Shredding event, sponsored by All Saints Episcopal Church and North ern Berkshire Solid Waste Management District, will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Steeple City parking lot, adjacent to All Saints Church.
Paper shredding (done while you watch), by the box or by the handful, will be available with a free-will donation.
A sample list, non-inclusive: laptops, $5; computers, $5; com puter monitors, $8; camcorders, VCRs, $5; speakers, $5; battery chargers, $5; electric tools, $5; copiers/fax/scanners, $5; radios/stereos, $5; audio/visual equipment, $5; humidifiers, $5; air conditioners, $10; dishwashers, $10; refrigerators, $10; freezers, $10; microwaves, $10; water heaters. $10; washing ma chines, $10; dryers (gas or electric), $10; stoves (gas or electric), $10; office copy ma chines, $10; tables saws/bench grinders, $10; televisions (27" and under), $20; televisions (ov er 27"), $25; televisions (proj ection), $30; and mice, keyboards, cords and cables, $5, or free with one other item.
If an item isn’t on the list, bring it in and they will price it. If it plugs in, bring it in.
