NORTH ADAMS -- The McCann Tech boys' soccer team focused on improving defensively. That earned the Hornets a 3-2 win over Mount Everett on Wednesday.

Chad Raimer scored once in each half, both assisted from Shane Fuller.

Coach Adam Kozik said goalkeeper P.J. Laliberte was much more aggressive than he was in a loss to St. Joseph's on Monday.

The team focused on tightening up defensively and eliminating scoring chances for its opponents. Kozik said his team won more fifty-fifty balls on its way to improve to a 3-2 record.
