Pownal American Legion Post 90 reopens bar, kitchen

POWNAL, Vt. -- American Legion Post 90 has announced the reopening of its newly renovated upstairs bar and kitchen.

They are open to the public Thursdays through Sundays, from 3 to 10 p.m., for the bar and 4 to 8 p.m. for the kitchen. Appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and many specials are offered each night. There are also cocktail specialties at reasonable prices.

The bar also features a big-screen TV, a new computerized jukebox and a pool table and games.

Bingo is offered Thursdays, with the doors opening at 5 p.m.
