Northern Berkshire District Court

NORTH ADAMS -- The following cases were heard in Northern Berkshire District Court on Friday:

* Terrence J. Brown, 48, of Willow Dell in North Adams admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on charges of assault and battery and violating an abuse prevention order. Brown was given probation until Sept. 20, 2013.

* Joshua A. Luczynski, 29, of Willow Dell in North Adams was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property over $250. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 30.
