WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Northern Berkshire Parkin son’s Support Group will meet Friday, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at Williamstown Savings Bank, 795 Main St., lower level board room.
Joey Collins, an occupational therapist with North Adams Regional Hospital, will be the guest speaker.
She will discuss how individuals with Parkinson’s disease can manage their daily tasks, such as self-care, feeding and household activities, with less effort and use of adaptive equipment and techniques. She will also share information on fall prevention.
Collins has 15 years experience and graduated from Quinnipiac University. She practices mostly in the acute care setting with a special interest in treating patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions.
