NORTH ADAMS -- Court Margaret, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, held its first regular meeting for the new year on Wednesday, Sept. 12, in St. Elizabeth Parish Center.

Installation of new officers was conducted by the court's district deputy Mary Ann Grus zecki: regent, Jus tyna Carlson; vice regent, Rose Marie Peters; recording secretary, Sally No lan; treasurer, Alice Samia; and financial secretary, Dorothy Racette. Flag bearers leading the proces sion al and recessional were Char lotte Cardimino and Del la Gallagher.

Joyce Fleming, of Medford, was elected as the Massa chu setts national director. She will be the liaison for the courts and national headquarters.

According to State Regent Connie Pagan, on Sunday, Oct. 21, Na tional Catholic Daugh ter Day, the state court is holding a fashion show and a three-course dinner at the Four Points by Sherton-Zachariah and Z's in Norwood. Proceeds will go toward anti-trafficking.

Court Margaret will be represented by Samia and Court Sancta Regina from Adams by Gruszecki.

A joint audit of the two courts will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 29, at 12:30 p.m. in St. Eliz abeth Parish Center. A covered-dish supper followed the installation and business meeting. Prizes were won by Dorothy Farinon, Gruszecki and Gniadek.
