NORTH ADAMS -- The Drury boys’ soccer team earned its second straight victory, breaking a halftime tie with three second-half goals to win 4-1 over Mohawk on Friday.
Jacob Groves tied the game a minute after Mohawk opened the scoring in the first half. Kodey Bryce, Cam Lesure and Ryan Ouimet added second-half goals.
"Things are really starting to click," Drury coach Greg Caproni said. "We’re really starting to find our passes and find the back of the net. Things are going really well."

NORTH ADAMS -- Mary Nguyen tallied her fifth hat trick of the season, capping off the scoring with her third goal of the day at the 58-minute mark to lead her team to a 6-0 victory.
"I had [Heather Malloy] back in 2005 that had 100 points too, but Mary’s ... definitely a goal scorer," McCann coach Mike Dowling said. "It’s nice. You can count on it, I guess. I am, anyway."
Eileen Zajac and Alex Lincoln also scored for McCann, which got an own goal by Westfield 2 minutes in to open the scoring.
"Monique Martel, Alex Lincoln, C.J. Schliech ... they’re pretty good back there [on defense]," Dowling said. "It would come back into our defensive end, and we’d put it back in the offensive end."
Greylock girls’ soccer
DALTON -- Three years to the day after the passing of former coach Robert "Boog" Powell, the Wahconah Regional girls soccer team continued
The game was rescheduled from the Sept. 24 cancellation due to electrical problems at the field.
"It was very emotional," Warriors coach Pat West said. "It was very much on their minds. This is Boog’s last group, too. They were freshmen."
Alex Keater, Bridget Lussier and Erin Hopmans scored for the victors, while Payton Hines made four saves in goal.
Margot Besnard made 12 saves for Greylock.
Greylock volleyball
PITTSFIELD -- The Braves rebounded from two close losses, with the help of 10 kills, 12 service points and a block by Nyanna Slaughter, to turn away the Mounties in five sets. Taconic won 23-25, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23, 15-5.
"We seem to be a third-game team," Taconic coach Jen Doerle said. "We turn it on. The spirit got into them and they turned everything around. It wasn’t one particular thing; they were playing exceptional the whole time."
Greylock’s Meredith Dezieck led the way on the other side of the net, earning 29 assists, 14 kills and six aces. Michala Dean had a match-high 31 kills with 17 digs and five aces; Hope Willis had eight kills and five blocks; and Celia Bote had 26 assists and 10 digs.
McCann boys’ soccer
WESTFIELD -- The Hornets dropped a crucial road game, falling behind 5-0 in the first hour and losing 5-1 to Westfield.
Chad Raimer had McCann’s only goal off a penalty kick in the 66th minute. McCann coach Adam Kozik said most of Westfield’s goals came off bounces or rebounds in the box, not solid shots. Westfield Voc. was just quicker to the ball.
"Part of it was we weren’t winning the ball," Kozik said. "They were faster than us. They got to the ball faster than us."

ADAMS -- McCann Tech dropped a tough one on the par-34 layout at Forest Park Country Club, 19-5 to Pioneer.
Dylan Jordan shot a 47 for the Hornets, earning two points in the loss. James Elliott’s 40 led Pioneer adn was the low score on the day.
