WILLIAMSTOWN -- Sweetwood of Williamstown will host a Spooktacular Costume Pet Parade on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the facility, 1611 Cold Spring Road (Route 7).
There will be door prizes and prizes for costumes. Prizes will be awarded for Best Pet Cos tume -- first place $200, second place, $125 and third place, $75 -- and Owner/Pet Look Alike prize, $100.
Pet clothing and pet owner jewelry, and pet-friendly guide tours will be available. There also will be refreshments and drinks for pets and owners.
Registration will be from 1 to 2 p.m.; the pet parade will be at 2 p.m., and the awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m.
To assure pet safety, Sweetwood requires canines and felines to be leashed at all times. Advance registration is requested, 413-458-8371.
