Bill Taft emailed the Transcript to say he was the man in this photo. He said he was the construction supervisor at the start of the $10 million phase of transforming the former Sprague Electric Co. site on Marshall Street into the multi-faceted museum complex, Mass MoCA, in November 1996. Also sending us info were Paulette Wein, Margaret Koperniak (Bill's sister) and Nate Tatro. The photo originally ran Nov. 8, 1996.
