ADAMS -- In honor of Veterans Day, both the Adams and Cheshire Councils on Aging will present "Love Letters," a play performed by Richard Clark and Lynne McKinney Lydick, on Friday, Nov. 9, at noon, at Adams Council on Aging in the Adams Visitors Center.
This Broadway hit is a poignant look at life and love as told through the reading of letters between friends.
A wrap lunch will be provided by Sugar Hill of Sheehan Health Group. A presentation on veterans' benefits will be given by local veterans representative Steve Roy.
There is no charge for admission, but those planning to attend must sign up. Space is limited. Cheshire seniors should call 743-1172 and Adams call 743-8333 to register.
Free transportation will be provided from the Cheshire Senior Center, leaving at 11:30 a.m.
