WESTFIELD (AP) -- Massachusetts State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 3-month-old Westfield girl authorities believe was abducted by her mother, who does not have legal custody.
Police say 28-year-old Cheryl Kozaczek left her home at about 1 a.m. Wednesday with 3-month-old Gaebria Kozaczek.
Preliminary information indicates there may be reason to fear for the child's safety.
They are believed to be in a gray 2004 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with the Massachusetts license plate 85Z H15.
Cheryl Kozaczek is described as white, about 5-feet, 4-inches tall, about 115 pounds, with long brown hair with blonde highlights. She was last seen wearing a lightweight tan sport coat, black jeans, and black Army boots.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to contact police.
