NORTH ADAMS -- After a two-year hiatus, the Redroom returns for one night only on Saturday, Nov. 3, at studio21South in the Beaver Mill.
Doors will open at 8 p.m. for an hour of life drawing, mingling, raffles and snacking. Then, at 9 p.m. a show featuring favorite skits, dance, songs, dreams and improvised raps will begin. The show contains mature material.
Entrance is $10 per person. The money raised will go toward Main Street Stage’s Backyard Tour 2013.
From 2008-2010, the Red room ran as a cab aret/variety show featuring short plays by local writers and Main Street Stage company members.
The Nov. 3 event will draw upon scripts and ideas from the three years of Redroom’s run and will include "A Staff Meeting at Hogwarts," "The Caroler’s Lament," "The Breastfeeding Burlesque" and "Shakespeare in the City," to name a few.
